Qualifications
Yesawich has led the development of marketing programs for some of the hospitality and travel industry’s most admired brands and popular destinations including: Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Hilton International, The Leading Hotels of the World, Atlantis Paradise Island,
Baha Mar, The Breakers, The Broadmoor, Canyon Ranch, New York Palace, Sandals, Sensei, Wynn Las Vegas, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Bermuda Tourist Board, Mexico Tourism Board, Disney Parks & Resorts, Interval International, Universal Studios, and the U.S. Olympic Committee.
From 2010 to 2020, Yesawich served as a member of the national board of directors and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) for Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA, now part of City of Hope), a national network of specialty hospitals and outpatient clinics treating adults diagnosed with complex or advanced-stage cancer. CTCA became the most widely recognized cancer care provider in the U.S. and third most admired hospital system in the country during his tenure as CGO.
Yesawich is a frequent contributor to trade and professional journals and co-author of Marketing Leadership in Hospitality and Tourism (Prentice Hall), and Hospitable Healthcare: Just What the Patient Ordered! (Indigo River Press).
He received three degrees from Cornell University, including a doctorate in psychology, and did postgraduate work at Yale and Stanford.

Yesawich is the recipient of the World Travel Award conferred by the American Association of Travel Editors, the Albert E. Koehl Award conferred by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International, the Silver Medal conferred by the American Advertising Federation, the Spirit of Hospitality Award conferred by the Destination Marketing Association International (Destinations International), and the Hall of Fame Award conferred by the Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
He is a former member of the national board of directors of the Travel Industry Association of America and Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and currently serves on the national advisory board of the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures and as Chairman of Discover the Palm Beaches, the official marketing organization of Palm Beach County, Florida.
